Meet Dr. Scott Enderby! He is Benchmark's Chief Medical Officer and has been with the company since January of 2019.Bachelor’s Degree: the University of Denver, Psychology

Residency: Kaiser Permanente Hospital in San Francisco
Masters: USC Marshall School of Business, Master of Medical Management
Dr. Enderby believes being a hospitalist provides the reward of ensuring the patient is moved with ease and advocacy around the complex system that is a hospital safely and efficiently. He relishes the team aspects of working in hospital medicine! Dr. Enderby shed some light on what’s going on with Benchmark: creating a fellowship program and improving process & standardization. Benchmark and Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College have partnered to create an administrative leadership fellowship. This is a unique opportunity for new graduates to be exposed to the business of healthcare while developing leadership skills. This year Benchmark began to focus on unifying its operational practices. Next year we plan on focusing on creating a standardized culture within our teams to help create value for the providers at each site. We want to ensure that each provider feels a connection to the entire organization, a true member of the Benchmark family.
Dr. Enderby loves staying healthy and traveling. When asked how he stays healthy, Dr. Enderby remarked, that he travels a lot between northern and southern California. He tries to get outside and in the water whenever he can --- he loves to kayak, sail, and swim. He also tries to hit the gym and do Crossfit. When asked about his favorite vacation destinations Dr. Enderby said, he doesn’t have a favorite place, anywhere he is outside is ideal. Some of his most memorable vacations have been kayaking with a group of migrating orcas, snowmobiling on a glacier in Iceland, and spending time with his family and friends cooking paella on a wood fire.
